Embassy
This basement is a prime example on how to make use of an area that is small in square footage. This lower level was constructed to define different areas without building additional walls or installing additional doors. A kitchenette and bar area was built to allow easy access to snacks and drinks while playing games or cards and while watching a movie. The kitchen area is highlighted by beautiful cabinetry with built in lighting. The children were able to have an area to play separate from the movie area.
An egress window was installed in the kitchenette area to add extra natural light, which also accents the crown molding on top of the cabinets. The egress window meets the town code requirement for an approved fire escape and it also permits natural light for any day time activities. The custom shelves were built into the closet in the game table area for extra storage. All lighting fixtures were mounted with moveable eyes so anyone can direct the light to whatever spot desired.
The kitchenette includes a full size refrigerator and an under the counter wine cooler. The laminate floor wraps around the other side of the bar to allow space for 3 to 4 stools, which all can face the egress window. There is also a powder room off the playroom for convenience.
This beautiful Brighton Basement also includes a cinema room convenient for watching the big game with friends or creates the perfect atmosphere for family movie night.
And completing this modern basement is the game room suitable for board games or poker.
